My GMC tailgate emblem—crooked from the factory

...so, I removed it. 
 

seriously, how bad is QC to let a canted brand emblem out the door? At least the non-MultiPro tailgates have an indentation that avoids this problem.

So I originally had the dealer remove the OEM emblem and put the black GMC one on. They reinstalled right where the other one was, and even they reinstalled it crooked. My husband swore I was seeing things and claimed I was just being too OCD.

 

When I got the tint done on my truck I had them remove the black emblem because it was crooked. The tint shop said they had another GMC in the shop during my tint job and even that one wasn't centered and level from the factory...

 

Crazy... 

 

The tint shop reordered the adhesive and reapplied the emblem after about two weeks of my tailgate being bare.

 

The truck felt so naked without an emblem on it lol
