Test drove a 2021 Tahoe today and...

Recommended Posts

I’m definitely going to upgrade in 2022 if the GM trucks get an interior like the Tahoe/Suburban.

I’ve watched a lot of video reviews of the new SUVs already and felt the new interior was nice and a step up. But getting into one and driving is another experience. I was very impressed.

The leather all over the cabin is actually soft, the seats are actually plush, the push button drive selector is great, and the new display is... SO much better than my RST 8” display.

I really hope something like this lands in the trucks. I might not hold out long enough to care, because that Tahoe rode like a cloud. And the increased room in it was also impressive.

Hard to get out of that and back into my RST for a 150 mile drive back home this afternoon. ???

I'm still tooling around in my 2012 Silverado LT, with the cracked plastic dash, lol. I love the RST trucks, but trying to hold out to see if they update the truck interiors. The suv's look amazing.

Trying to get the wife to get the Yukon AT4. I have a 2020 AT4 HD Duramax to tow our travel trailer. Need her to tow a boat. Can’t triple tow in CA, even with the permit that allows it, because I’d be over the 65’.

I've already seen about five of these on the road and they've only been out for a month. When the T1 pickups came out it seemed like forever before I actually saw one in traffic. I think GM really has a hit with these.

I've seen a bunch too and I live around small towns. They aren't cheap so people must be loving them. I for one am also impressed with it.

Good point about seeing so many on the road... that’s true. I didn’t see many T1s when they came out until into 2019, honestly.

Seeing this many 2021 SUVs really is impressive... given there are hardly any on the dealer’s lots, and it’s mostly only the $$$ trims available to buy right now.

My buddy who is a dealer said the first month a new model comes out, its most cash buyers for them. I guess the wealthy buyers like to get the glitzy new rides first! ?

Like it's silverado big brother, ugly ass headlights, ugly ass taillights.  Even uglier though on the Tahoe.

Typical GM.

Something like this makes it look somewhat decent.
