Is the RC level kit safe for Traill boss?

So the verdict is that the 1” block is safe? I talked to my dealership and they use a rough country 2” that goes above the strut. It’s $900, takes all day to install and yields 1.5”.

Did you order the gmc 1” or at4 specific 1”? Motofab told me they are the same thing but the at4 designation is $3 more

Do you have a Trail Boss or AT4?

305/70/18 should work, right? Only 12” wide

I Called ready lift again today, they said any tire over 11.5” wide with stock rims isnt recommended as it may rub. They have 6mm spacer kit and they actually said it will help stock rims with wider than 11.5” tires clear the control arm.

Boom . Should be good to go

Shouldn’t have any regrets?

I wish motofab would get back to me. The GMC 1” level and GMC TB/AT4 1” level is the same product but with a different sku and the TB/AT4 part is $4 more.

The pictures look different between the 2. And I know sometimes photos are not accurate representations but for $4 why not go with the one specific to your truck?

Looking to level my trail boss but have seen issues on here with peoples truck, angles and stuff not being good after a level and parts breaking down the road.

planned on sticking with stock wheels and maybe doing a 1/2” wheel spacer, what size tires can I run without issue once leveled? 35x12.5x18?

I had a RC 1.5 level kit installed on my 2020 TB , so far no issues .. the ready lift doesn’t address the cv axles so 1.5 is the max I was will to go and a one inch may be a better choice ...

I’ve had the RC level on my Lt TB for probably about 10k km now. Lots of off road down logging style roads and a bit of fun in the mud.

zero issues; zero issues at all, the dealer whom installed it said it was a better kit then the one they sell for TB/AT4s. So now they recommend and sell the RC kit, who Cj also doesn’t void warranty because it’s under 2”.

I love it, I would recommend it, my 2 friends who have trail bosses as well both installed it with zero issues, angles are fine on both CV and Balljoint. I’ll get the Cognito UCAs is when my ballpoints go but for now I wouldn’t worry about spending the cash on them, no point. I love the kit, survived a nice Canadian winter and again no issues

A better kit than the one they sell for the TB/AT4s?

What kit, exactly, is it? Because the levels are basically all the same with the exception of the install location on the strut.

All I know is it’s the TrailFX kit, I didn’t look too much into it. But honestly love the RC kit, no regrets at all. Gonna put the Cog UCAs on probably when the ball joints go down the road
