Anybody sold their T1 to Carvana?

Recommended Posts

I paid $45k for my truck back in Nov of 2019 and got offered $48,700 today through Carvana. I’m torn whether to get something else or just keep mine.

Like it was said earlier, it’s all relative. We’re getting more for ours but the dealers aren’t discounting theirs as much.

Shoot 48K and some change will get you a 2020 6.2L RST Z71 All Star, leather, sunroof, safety, convinence I and convinence II.  Ask me how I know.  Plus taxes of course.  Thats what I paid for my RST stickered at 58K.

I tried it again, it looks like they changed their algorithm and it now recognizes my RST 5.3 4x4.

Offered me $43,200. Not bad, that was what I bought it at last year. It has only 4,000 miles on it since I rarely drive it. Not bad.

Didn't know it fluctuates though.. hmph..

Seems like the higher trims are taking a beating. Re-ran Carvana, $45,400 on my LTZ. What a rip. KBB trade-in range is $46-49k. Why would I sell it for less and lose the tax benefit too.

How many miles? I have a 2019 SLT with 7,000 miles and their offer to me was $45,582. I paid just under that amount brand new in 11/2019.

18k miles. Truck sticker was 61k.

Not looking to get rid of it until a worthy replacement is introduced anyway. The offer just seemed light considering some guys with LTs and RSTs are right in that ballpark.

Does seem like a no brainer for some if they can get into something else at a good price, or ride out the wave until things normalize.
