Power Steering Glitches

Recommended Posts

Out of the clear blue my steering assist intermittently stops. Only seems to happen when stopping to back up when swinging the wheel over. I saw some info on a recall but I have no outstanding recalls on this truck. Help would be much appreciated.

2014 LTZ Z71 Double Cab with 5.3L.

As I've posted before CHECK AL YOUR GROUNDS! There are numerous youtube videos showing how bad grounds can affect your truck, especially the (2) at L & R dash, next to windshield, under the front dash cover.

Not to beat a dead horse but if a battery that was able to start your motor with a bad battery something doesnt sound right.

It wont hurt to by $50 of new cables and swap or add more ground straps.

Yeah that’s not how new trucks work

Bad batteries are no longer pass/fail

It’s really annoying
