How to display Celsius, not Fahrenheit?

Hi,

I've just imported a 2003 Silverado 2500HD from US, and I want to know how I can make the climate control and outside temp to show Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. I've changed everything else in the driver information computer to metric, but I cant find how to change the temperatures.

Anyone that knows?

The C/F format for the outside temp display (on rearview mirror) can be changed by depressing the switch for an extended period (Instructions are in the owners manual, page 2-54). The inside temp C/F format (on the automatic climate control) is changed via the "English/Metric" selection on the DIC.

(At least that is how it happens on my 2003 2500HD LT.)

This morning I noticed that the Climate control had changed, I don't know how I missed this last time...

I'll check my manual tonight to see if I can persuade the outside temp to work my way...

I've found that if you want some help fast, forums like this is the place to go. Very competent people and lots of useful information just a couple of clicks away. Who would be better to ask about a Chevy truck than US truck owners/users?
