Yes, had the replace the rack on our 16 Tahoe just shy of 60000 miles.

Just curious guys, what went wrong with them that they needed to be replaced?

Ours was leaking, the racks are mode of a soft metal, so some parts can be replaced, but if the rack itself is the problem, it has to be replaced.
