Wow. The Thunderbirds flew? At the airshow I went to this summer, one of the birds crashed. I figured they'd be grounded for at least 6 months. Cool to see they're flying again!

I would sure like to see some more. What res. did you take them at? I would sure like to get some of those in atleast 1024 x 768 for desktop pictures. If you do put up a website, let me know. Always trying to increase my aviation picture base.

Pictures were taken with a Canon 10D (6mb digital) using a 300mm lens. The planes were so close that I don't think I ever had to go to the full 300mm focal length.

 

 

RAW resolution on the picture above is 3072x2048. I then crop in Photoshop, adjust levels a bit and resize for web. For this one I added the border also.

 

Still thinking about doing a website or not. If I do, the pictures will be limited as to what goes up.
