Install Rear Seat Storage

Wanting to order the under seat storage this weekend. I have the all weather liners, does anyone know if I have to cut them for this?

Don't quote me but on my 2018 Sierra I had GM's all weather liners and then bought the storage and it screwed right into the bottom with no cutting. My new 19 has GM's all weather liners, but the high country all ready has it built in.

I would say if you have the GM liners, and bought the GM storage you should be just fine. Good luck, that looks like a nice product. Bigger than the factory one on my truck

Thanks! I’m hoping you don’t have to cut, so I can remove it for road trips with utilize the liners for the dogs.

Do you have the crappy stock storage? I did and removed it. It was installed on top of the factory installed floor liners. There was one screw near the drivers side and the rest were for the jack on the other side. Best thing I ever did was remove it. Then reinstalled the Jack/tools. It should go right on top like the crappy one did.

Just bought Husky Liners and the same storage box. Should be here by Thursday. I'll post pics for you!

No, mine didnt even come with the storage - I just have these liners.

I have the metal locking box and it fit great with the oem liners!

Same as mine except it came with the felt style organizer that has a bunch of wasted space. Doubt you’ll have to cut anything as mine sat on top of that liner. I’m guessing they’ll be holes for the jack and tools to be stored inside the new box. Remove those. Install the box and the jack mount bolts will help hold the box in place. Just a guess tho.

I have these in my truck now. you do not need to cut like GM wants you too. Where the back side of the jack meets the liner you do need to cut it flush with the floor.

Sorry @2020SilveradoCC,

i couldn't get to it last night.

But i was able to find this picture online, this area is where you want to flat cut it so that the box will lay evenly. this area the mat comes up roughly 1" .

Got it installed today. Did have to trim the liners, in fact, trimmed them a touch too much. I think it turned out pretty well, though.
