RPO codes?

I got my build sheet today and some of the RPO codes have little meaning, like, 9AZ- Component.  Really?

Is there any resource out there that will explain in more detail what all the RPO codes mean.

9AZ is a spring code. The fronts are computer selected to specifically match the vehicle equipment. Rears are not so fancy, just dictated by which of the various suspension packages the truck has.
 

There is a master list but you’re not going to get much more info than what is listed on the build sheet. Most of the ones starting in numbers are nonsense.

Keep in mind that a code certain code for a Silverado can be for something different on a different model.
