ATI hints on vortec 350?

About to install used ATI Procharger P1SC on my 98 K1500. Its a light truck with the regular bolt ons. RC SB 3.73's and 5 speed manual.

 

Relatively new to supercharging. Have 6lb. and 10lb. pulleys-is the 10lb. too much on a stock short block? Also should I upgrade my blow-off or bypass valve (its a plastic Bosch unit)?

 

I also have a uncut head pipe/dual cat assembly and an additional one with straight pipes welded in place of the cats. At low boost (and rpm) during daily driving, will there be enough backpressure with the SC extra volume of exhaust to give me low end torque of a more "stock" type system when using the open pipes?
