Knocking Sound from Front Differential Area

The Service 4WD warning message came up Sunday with no lights on the drive selector on the dash, and of course did what we all do searched the forums. We cleaned the ground wire, replaced the fluid and even went as far as replacing the 4wd actuator.

 

  1. Any ideas what would be making the noise in the video?
  2. What would be keeping the round drive selector from not lighting up and switching from 2 to 4 wheel drive?
