2020 3L turbo lag

Took a 2020 3l denali for a ride today .I noticed the turbo lag .salesman said it mite get better when it breaks in .any body else notice this .driving a 2019 at4 with 6.2 now so mybe it was just I was not used to the 3l

Was the delay due to a downshift?

If you are comparing a 3L diesel to the 6.2L, gonna feel like lag.  LOL

 

Otherwise, I haven't noticed any lag whatsoever.  But, my days of flooring it are few and far between.

Only lag ive noticed was stomping on it from a stop, which my 6.6 had a bit of too. Compared to a gasser is will have a little lag
