Softopper Installed

Recommended Posts

There were quite a few things I wanted to install this weekend but I only managed one, and after installing the Softopper I came to the conclusion it was too darn hot and stopped there.  The Softopper was an easy enough install, the directions were straight forward and the quality of materials seems high.  My only complaint at this time, and it's a very small one, would be the flap that covers the tail gate seems too long/sloppy, but that might be something I can adjust if I sit down and shift the bed rail bars a little more forward toward the cab.  Again, the quality of materials and ease of install are what you would expect if you've researched the product much at all, and I'm very pleased with the end result. I also wasn't sure if I was going to like the grey color, but I think it matched the wheels nicely and the color will grow on me.

On a side note, I'm pretty excited to do some very minor, amateur, "over-landing" with the truck once I get a few more components installed, but this is a start.
