Swap Tekonsha brake controller from 16 to 20?

My dad just bought a 20 RST but couldn't find one with the factory brake controller. He pulled the Tekonsha brake controller and pigtail harness out of his 16 Silverado. Does anyone know if the pigtail harness changed with the new trucks or should it just plug and play on the 20 like it did on the 16?

Tekonsha lists the 3016-P harness for the 2016 and the 3064-P for the 2020. The picture for the harness looks like a different shape as well, so I’d say he’s going to need a new one.

Wonder if all the wiring for the factory controller is behind the dash and you could install the factory one?  Too bad he couldn't get a truck with it.  The trailer App is pretty nice to have!
