Crew cab back seat upgrade

I have my sights on a 2020 Sierra SLE.  It is pretty basic but more than meets my needs.  It has the standard back seat without a centre cup holder or storage compartments. I am thinking that this would be an easy upgrade and possibly a negotiable part of a deal.  I'm sure my dog wouldn't complain but someday I may once again carry more than one human passenger!

I imagine it would fit fine as the instructions to remove the seat back are the same for all models of crew cab and double cab. Might get expensive with all the parts: foam, cloth/leather, doors and hinges.

With my 2015 LS Custom it came with the 1 piece rear bench, I wanted the 60/40 split so I could have my kid's car seat on the 40 side and the other side up. I found a scrap yard with a wrecked LT and bought the split back seat out of that for like $200 and installed it in mine. Just buy the truck and keep an eye on your local scrap yards for one with the fancy back seat in a matching color, many have online inventory. Great thing about these trucks being so common is that there are always lots of wrecked ones to scrap parts from, even on newer models.

It’s possible I have an Lt Silverado that came with cloth seat without storage compartments or cup holder and was able to swap it to the one with them. It’s pretty straight forward has 8 bolts in the bottom holding the Bottom seat and 3 springs on the wall holding the top part of the seat
