What's the difference between Chevy & GMC trucks?

mostly the same besides looks. GMC has a few more options and nicer interior for higher trim levels. IMO GMC trucks look much better than the Chevy ones.

When I bought my Sierra I also looked at the allstar edition Silverado. I have the z71 Sierra sle with the value package. I got it for the same price as the Silverado was. I assume the sle and allstar are similar but I did get more options for the same price. Things the Sierra had the chevy did not where...built in garage door opener, LED bed lights, factory spray in bed liner, white stitching on interior,built in trailer brake controller and heated seats. That's why I went with GMC got it for same price more options.

It was ‘16 or ‘17 when they went with Chevy colors.

Why...just, why? GMC's logo is red. My girl's Terrain Denali has step sills that light up the word Denali in red. The dash stitching is red. I like it. My dash lights are red. I think it actually looks great and might make the transition to night vision easier. I dont know.

I've always has Chevys. This is my first GMC and I'm kinda liking the slight little differences. Only to find out, the next one I get may not be quite as special. Bummer
