I have a 2021-Silverado High Country with 3.0 Duramax with 42k miles.  I am having the same issue described above.  This is the second time this has happened.  The first time, about 6 months ago the whistling sound finally went away after a full new tank of fuel.  Not sure what is causing the whistling noise during acceleration.

This is certainly not what we like to hear, Bob-2021 High Country.  Please know, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. Sorry,I realize this is an older post, but i find myself here investigating a noise that seems to have just started on my truck, 21 silverado 1500 RST z71, duramax 3.0. Was at dealership 2 weeks ago and mentioned truck engine while accelerating had a very annoying hiss. I assume it's turbo releasing air pressure because it sounds like an air compressor released air just before shifting gears. Highway drive is quiet and normal driving is quiet. Only during acceleration. They found nothing.  Now I have a check engine light on and loss of power.  62k on this truck.  Not impressed.
