Front License plate holder for 2017

Evening guys. My 2017 Silverado does not have the front license plate holder. Can anyone that has one mounted in the front, how it is attached? Does it snap on or are there some fasteners?

I know many don't like these but I wanted to mount my veterans plate on it, so wondered how it mounts ^& if anyone wants to get ride of theirs's.

4 screws or rivets in the kit. No snap on type. Mine installed at dealer on my 2018

Yeah they’re the pop rivets. I got the tool at HFT for like $5 and put mine on. Bought It here on the forum. It was actually super easy. Goes just below the bumper:

Mine was just screwed on when I bought it. It was the first thing I took off

Massclownchusetts requires the front plate. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so I cant ditch it. I would tho.

you could also try a 9c1 police plate holder, its allows you to fold the plates up and down , I use mine to stash a few bucks and a spare house key behind
