110v Receptacle Uses?

I have a 2020 GMC Sierra Elevation that does not have the 110v outlet.  It has the large cover just covering the blank space.  Does anyone have any uses for this space?  Can the cover be popped off and have something inserted to use as a small storage?  Just seems like a large waste of space.

a light would be better than the outlet anyway.....i have the outlet but its pretty much useless anyway, cant run anything decent off of it
