2020 GMC Multi Pro Tailgate

Recommended Posts

I love my Multi Pro tailgate but when I lower the whole tailgate and put the load stop up it keeps falling down when applying the brakes, does anyone know how to make it stay up?

I traded my 2018 GMC Sierra in on a 2020 I can't believe the difference in the two trucks, I thought my 2018 was the best truck ever until I experienced the new 2020, it's awesome!

Haven't used it in that position yet, but when checking it out, I though it was odd that you could not lock it open with the hinge arms. Also would have been great if they figured out a way to make it slide a couple inches so 8' boards fit.

And of course the hitch issue, as now my month old truck has a chip in the paint because I forgot I left the hitch on.

Everything is tight on tailgate when I open the whole gate flat and put up the load stop it will fall forward when you apply the brakes, is there is a way to lock it in position?

The flap that serves as a step when the tailgates are open

Ohhh. So you gotta pop the step out and then bring the tailgate back up? I didn’t even know it could do that.

I know. But you have to drop the tailgate first right? I didn’t know it could be used like that.

Just needs to be dropped as shown in the pic. The load stop can be lifted without dropping the secondary smaller tailgate.
