$189 doesn't seem to bad. I already installed the pedal commander and really like it. I wonder if the 2 would work together?

The thing is part of the system is mechanical. If shutting the electrical part off while leaving the mechanical part stock the guy would think it might have some bad side effects. No?

The range device disables the electrical side of DFM thus deactivating the mechanical part as well. Or I'm just not understanding what you are trying to convey.

They have ones for the 6.2

It was confirmed via email that they haven’t included trucks with the 10 speed trans yet, even though the 6.2 is listed.

I thought the mechanical part  basically an oil pressue controlling a collapseable lifters ( can't be turned off unless u replace part of the head and new lifter. Very invasive process). But I could be wrong

No. It just tells the PCM to not send a signal that isn't getting sent a good portion of the time anyway. Bad side effects? Lower fuel efficiency. Granted.

Mine worked well on my 2015.........wonder if they  can reprogram it?? I do not like the fact there is no indicator letting you know when AFM is activated. I use to just drive mine in 5th gear most of them. AFM didn't kick in, but I've never confirmed if that is true for the 2020.

they do reprogram for free. you just have to pay shipping to them. Im not sure though if they can update all modules or just some versions.

This is what they emailed me......

Give us a call at the number listed below with your unit in hand and we will get a repair set up for you to send your unit in for a update. The update will not cost you anything but the shipping to us. Thanks.

Could I only use this part of the time? Like only when towing. I appreciate the better gas mileage when I'm just commuting to work during the week.

I don't see why not. It just plugs into the OBD port so just plug it in when you want to use it.

IIRC dfm and auto stop are disabled when you have something plugged into the 7 pin trailer port
