Just when you think GM has alot of recalls

GM recall: tonneau cover may fall off

Ford recall: seatbelts may fail

Ford recall: transmission may be in wrong gear

Jeep recall: transmission may catch fire

I gave up after that because the website works like ****** on my phone.

The one for the brakes was by far the scariest on mine. But now that we are in the second year, most of this stuff is taken care of. I nominate the 2021 F-150 as the recall king for next year since it’ll be brand new.

That's what I think, too. Especially since they managed to have 12 recalls on the 2017 F-150, which went through its last redesign in 2015, if I recall correctly.

Recalls are not a good indicator of a vehicle. Many manufacturers drag their feet and need to be forced to issue a recall by the feds. We saw that with the Takata airbag inflators where some companies quickly announced the problem and replaced the inflators. My 2011 Duramax has the defective inflators and I eventually got a recall notice from GM four years ago. But GM has decided not to replace the injectors for my truck and so I have the passenger side airbag switched off. Who wants shrapnel flying all over the cab in the event an airbag activates?

The 2019/20 Silverado/Sierra, Subaru, F-150, and BMWs seem to take the top picks when it comes to number of recalls.. Also a good number of older Hyundai/Kias

If I were a betting man, think I would take both of those, wonder what kind of odds Vegas is giving?

How are you going to leave the 2019 Ram out of that list?

Airbags may not deploy in a crash: https://www.consumerreports.org/car-recalls-defects/ram-1500-recalled-for-software-problem-that-can-disable-airbags/

Loss of power steering: https://www.consumerreports.org/car-recalls-defects/fca-recalls-2019-ram-1500-pickups-over-loss-of-power-steering/

Brake pedal can literally fall off: https://www.consumerreports.org/car-recalls-defects/ram-trucks-recalled-because-brake-pedal-can-detach/

Not sure what your definition of older is but my 2012 Kia only had 2: one related to the whole Takata fiasco and one to inject some kind of corrosion inhibitor into a couple spots.
