Back-up camera lumens.

Back-up camera brightness...... is possible to to decrease/control the brightness of the screen?  At times & under certain conditions it is way too bright, annoying & very distracting. I am forced to throw a towel over it. Does anyone else have this issue?  Thanks.....onewire.

To answer your question, no, there is no adjustment for brightness,, many have complained about it, there’s a thread around someplace about it.

I hate it also, could I use a temporary window tint for the fix.

On our 17 Malibu the screen was too bright on the back up camera so I went and got some 20% static cling window tint used a piece of paper as a template to get the size of the screen and transferred it to the tint and applied, works very good and the touch screen still works.

DONT USE REGULAR WINDOW TINT AS IT HAS A GLUE ON THE BACK AND YOU WILL NEVER GET IT OFF THE SCREEN INCASE YOU WANT THE REMOVE
