Need help Sun roof problem

On my 2001 Silverado 1500 ...the sun roof work great except when I drive over 40 mph the back side part of the window when closed push down ...allowing air and water to flow into the cab ...can any body tell me how to fix this problem

First, make sure the sunroof is properly synchronized. Basically, turn the key to the run position (don't start), then hold "forward" for 30 seconds until the roof runs fully forward to the vent position. Then try it and see if it runs properly.

 

If it doesn't run right, it is worth removing the glass (2 torx 25 screws each side) and checking in the tracks for any loose/broken pieces by running the roof back and forth.

 

Oh and if that doesn't fly, grab a tube of black silicone caulk. You know what to do with it.

Thank you ....when I bought the truck it was silicone already ...I will try that and thank you and be safe out there
