Just purchased my first truck.

Looking to install a bed cover, bed floor liner and a front bug/hood shield.

I have a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Short bed.

Any recommendations on these accessories and where to purchase would be greatly appreciated,

Have you considered a spray in bed-liner?

No, don’t do it.  Stick with the spray liner only.  Find a Tonneau cover that you like and that’s all you need out back.

Depends on where you live but unless you are getting the old man bed cap[emoji12](like this https://www.americantrucks.com/undercover-elite-smooth-hinged-tonneau-cover-unpainted-2019-silverado-1500-w-short-s-chevy.html ) that goes over the bed rails water resistant would be the best description.

OH wait you ment like a rubber bed mat? I thought you meant a full drop in plastic bed liner. Bed mat could cause water buildup but will be much easier to clean.

Is the Tonneau cover water tight? Are you familiar with the 19418277 cover by REV? My dealer recommended it.

Resists weather. Kinda like the old avalanche bed top, but with less robust drains.

if you're trying to put things in there that CAN NOT get wet your only option is a single piece hinged cover that covers the bed caps. though obviously if you submerge any part of the bed in water then it will find a way to get into the drain holes at the bottom of the bed or the tailgate itself.

Only waterproof covers are going to be ones that go over the entire bed and the rails.
