Top tier 93 for me. Topic has been beat to death here but there’s really no excuse for cheaping out on fuel with a performance engine. Especially when oil was -$37 a barrel just a couple days ago. ?

best gas or best way to improve milage?

Top Tier 93 from Chevron or Mobil or Sunoco in that order.  Shell is terrible for some reason, can always count on Shell to deliver 2 MPG less per mile.

Add Ethanol sensor and tune to run E85. Worse milage but much cheaper gas and MOAR POWERZ!

Can you tune the T1's?  I don't think even HP Tuners has a tune available due to the way GM has locked the computer.
I my neck of the woods, E85 is 10-15 cents cheaper than E10.  However, E85 delivers 30%-35% worse mileage.  Costs as much or more to run E85 than it does to run premium.  Even if you could tune the T1, you just voided your warranty for a few HP.

It’s an LT1 with truck tuning, intake and exhaust manifolds.

If 420 hp and 460 tq doesn’t qualify as a performance engine, I don’t what does.

I’m not sure on the tuning differences. Mines a 2017 didn’t think there was a difference other than the trans. I know the trans is locked on mine. I’m not familiar with the e10. What’s the octane rating on it? I always compare the e85 to 93 which is damn near a dollar cheaper around Houston.

edit: I’ve seen e10, e15, e30. Assuming e10 is regular gas now (since most unleaded comes with up to 10% ethanol). I just wonder is the 87 octane rating factoring in the ethanol? Or is it actually something like 85octane boosted by ethanol?

I agree. Time and time again I’ve hear people describe this more as a performance engine with the 6.0 bring the work horse. Now I guess it’s replaced by the 6.6 which makes 401/464 allegedly. It’s not about peak numbers. It’s about where it makes its torque. That doesn’t mean the L86 can’t be used for work successful.

I run 93 from Circle K..why because its closest to my house and has the best price on copenhagen. As for MPG, there is a road going to my grandparents house that's about 30 miles long and speed limit is 50 for almost all of it. Best 25 mpg average on that road is 23.3...I'd consider that pretty damn good. Now granted, I will not normally ever go that slow for such an extended time...but it is what it is.

Best way to improve mileage is to control how you press the go pedal.

Best advice.
