Diamondback covers

Recommended Posts

I have one, and I only get a little bit of water in.

Did you install the rubber gasket along the edge of the bed near the cab?  Have you tightened the middle section after things settled in?  Did you overtighten?  Have you adjusted the locking bars?  Are the plastic thingy's in the right place for the locking bars?  Do you have to push down in order to engage the locking mechanism (mine is tight and offers resistance when closing)?

There's a big thread on a Tacoma site that offers a lot of help.  Just search for Tacoma and Diamondback.

And congrats!  I love mine.  The utility and longevity is worth the premium.  I've had it on for a year, and it still looks new.

I have done everything I know to do. Diamondback has been helpful. They have sent numerous seals trying to fix issue but with no luck yet. Put a new bulkhead seal on again yesterday that is thicker. Right now basically have to have someone on both side to push down to open and close lock it. My only issues is with the front panel letting water in. Love the cover but man it’s frustrating!
