Chevrolet k2500 classic 2000 crewcab

I have an issue with my door locks. The switch on the door quit working. However the key fob still works. I bought a new switch didn't resolve issue. I checked the circuit breakers and they are fine however my cigarette lighter fuse blows the second I put a new fuse in. Any advise on where or what to check would be appreciated.

Did you consider that maybe there's a wiring problem somewhere, perhaps in the doors (particularly in the door jam area, where the wires flex as you open/close the door)?

Yes, I actually found the issue there is a dead short in one of the lumbar motors under the seat. I had checked the door jamb area prior as well as looking under the dash for damaged wore and found none.
