2020 Chevy 2500HD Rear Trailer Camera

I have a 2020 Chevy 2500HD LT that has the 2 camera ports on the bumper of my truck that give me the ability to plug in a camera behind the 5th wheel and one inside the 5th wheel.  If I get one camera and mount it towards to top of the 5th wheel on the back middle,  would I be able to adjust the camera in a position so I can see a ball hitch connected to the 5th wheel along with being able to see a boat that I am pulling behind the 5th wheel in the same field of view from the same camera.  I pull tandem with my 5th wheel so I pull a boat behind the 5th wheel.  I would like to be able to use one camera for 2 things. 

 

1 - The camera would help be back up the 5th wheel making it much easier to align the  2 inch ball hitch on the back of the 5th wheel with the boat  hitch.  This would make backing the 5th wheel up to the boat much easier. 

 

2- I would like to use the same camera as a set of eyes while driving down the road.  I would like to see if everything related to the boat was doing ok behind the 5th wheel.  For example is the boat tarp wiping around or loose, Is the boat still back there,  are the tires still good on the boat.

I believe it will work for both of your needs.  The higher you put it on the trailer the more fish eye the picture will look.  You will just have to try a couple of different locations before permanently mounting.
