2020 denali roof style

Does anyone know the difference between the roof of a 2020 gmc 3500 and a 2019 gmc 3500 is the width different I am looking to put Thule roof racks on my new truck.

You should probably talk to someone at Thule about the difference.  Not many here are using roof racks or would know the answer to that question.  It will also depend on the style of bars your current rack uses.  I can tell you that I carry a kayak on my truck and use round bars from Yakima.  I've used the same bars on three different 2500's but had to change towers with each new truck.  The photo below is from a 2008 Silverado that I just replaced with a 2020 LTZ.  I don't have a photo of the kayak on the new truck but I do have the new towers and it's ready to go whenever.

Thank you for the reply I used to have my kayaks on the roof of my 2011 f350 I just purchased the 2020 gmc 3500 and I can’t find a Thule rack to fit. do the new Yakima towers fit the 2020 roof

Yes, Yakima has all of the parts.  I'm attaching a couple of lists for the parts needed for the 2020 HD's that I received from Yakima when I inquired about a rack.  You'll need an adapter in addition to these items for whichever style bar you're going to use.  I don't think any of the Thule bars are compatible with the Yakima racks.
