'07 2500HD turns off and on every 6-6 1/2 minutes

New guy here,

We have a 2007 Silverado 2500hd with the Vortec engine and every 6 to 6 1/2 minutes it will shut itself off and turn itself back on and it only happens when you are driving. The transmission will downshift and throw you forward but it has never not caught itself and turned back on quickly (yet). All the lights on the dash will kick on and won't go away until you shut the truck off. I did get a P0601 code just now that states there is a fault in the internal memory of the PCM. The PCM was replaced a couple years ago. Anybody have any ideas or has anyone else had this problem? I've never experienced anything like it. Thank you!

Your truck may have a older remote starter ??. Some were hooked into and worked with the OEM door locks, etc. If so, could be a brake switch issue. Good luck, and welcome to the Forums !
