I dont recall ever getting an event code from a chat rep. I know someone that has the ability to look up my status on the GM database but I use the chat to avoid constantly bothering them for updates.

Here is a good one for you. GM chat now told me the rep last week misinterpreted my information and my truck is in fact not built. I am apparently still in 3400 status. They have given me the same VIN now 2 times (March 20 and May 28)... No idea what's going on.

I see VINs about 5000 under mine are in transit now... so if its not built, maybe it will be built soon. GM needs a serious upgrade in their order tracking system, it's deplorable.

I too have had a vin and event code 3400 since March 23rd. I know it's useless but I just checked on the chat just now and they have no updates but said it's in the process of being built. Does anyone with a TPW of 3/16 have any better news?

I did. I did the chat on 5/28 and was told the truck was built and I was given a VIN. I was also given a event code of 4000. I did the chat yesterday and was only told that the truck was built with no further info avalable.

Dealer just called me unprovoked and said mine was built yesterday, 263### is my VIN. I see 261### trucks on the inventory search so I assume this information is correct and it is built finally. We will see if that friday build curse is real.

Ordered mine on 3/6. Got a call from my salesman on 4/27 that it was built. Arrived at the dealership on 6/3 & drove it home the next day.

My vin is also 263### and I just had my status checked. I am now at event code 3800. Very happy to know its built. Let's see how quickly it makes it's way to the dealer.

When did your order go to event code 2000 and 3400?

Just trying to get a loose timeline guess.

I don't have that info. That was the only time I was given an event code. My build date was 3/16 and it was built the week of 5/25

If you want the full event code list, the dealer will print it out for you from Workbench.

Called my dealer today (Canadian). Placed order for a Denali 2500HD with tri-frost at end of April. My event code as of today is 3000 and build date is week of August 10th. Really hoping that gets bumped to sooner than later.

We've made progress on a 3/16 truck. After the back and forth since March, being built, then not built, then built, then not built, I have finally been built 2 times in a row. I think it might be true this time, I was told today it was waiting for transport/in quality control. Not sure what event code that is, but it looks like we might be moving in the right direction.

I will check back with them next week.
