Anyone seeing any deals too good to pass up??

Here's a decent price on a truck. They have had it for sale for some time now. 17.5% off MSRP -  Duramax, LTZ, 5th wheel package, technology package, sunroof. Been on lot for at least 5 months now.

GM Financial gave me 2.7% for 72 months based on either my good looks or good credit score on my HD.  My CU was at 3.2.

Today I have been offered a new $78,945.00 (MSRP) 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 HD for $63,000.00.  That's about 20% off, but it's not in the color I want (Black or White). What does everything think of that price?

On a side note, a good friend of mine that has a friend who works in the larger part of GM proper said to wait until May 1st. He couldn't say why or lead into details.  I'm in no rush to buy but I've never seen 20% off on a 2500HD Denali Diesel before...

Yeah that is a great price. Cheapest I’ve found on a Denali DMax so far is 64k. I am in the same boat you are, which is not in a  hurry to buy. I hope what you are hearing about May 1st materializes into even better pricing and that might be when I take the leap to purchase.

I think I am going to pull the trigger today on buying the truck. I have a hold it on and the dealer is reporting a lot of interest in the truck. But they won't throw any other deals or accessories at it. They had to replace the windshield because it had a chip since the own wanted to take it on a hunting trip. Good news is that they already broken in the engine LOL. So I think I'll buy the truck today and drop it off at a local shop and get a 3" lift.

This is the truck I am looking at: https://www.rivardbuickgmc.com/VehicleDetails/new-2020-GMC-Sierra_2500HD-Crew_Cab_Standard_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_Denali-Tampa-FL/3487896233

they always say there's a lot of interest.....I had 4 of them say that,  yet trucks are still sitting there, but the one time they're actually is will be the time its gone when you go to get one you really want, lol.....but they use that tactic a lot

I love that color red....I wouldn't have a problem with it but I am not too picky about colors, only a few I wouldn't take

but jeez 76k is a lot of coin for a truck.....I believe they have most wiggle room on high end models

how did you find one with prior damage like that one....as long as they fix it I wouldn't care (sure they fix them all the time anyways most just don't ever know)

wtf is annual hunting trip discount, lol.....guess they can just throw rebates in whenever they want idk

@Dunn, excluding tax, title, and other fees I am getting the truck for just under $63K. But after taxes, title, tag, dealer fees, etc. I am looking at about $68,500.

Nice truck! I like that color red as well but I’m too plain and boring so looking for white. Nice, 3k off for the owners annual hunting trip! How many miles did they put on it? Let us know if you ended up buying it.

@Dunn and @PepsiMan, I was able to get more information on the "annual hunting trip" and only 4.5K miles were put on the truck. It is still under 5K miles. The were pulling about a 10-11K trailer and the engine currently has about 130 hours. Everything else checks out. They even included a free accessory battery. I'm having the dealership do an oil change so I don't need to get on right away.

As for the damage, nothing gets reported on the VIN, but the dealer did do a disclosure saying the windshield needed to be replaced and one of the running boards got a dent, which they replaced that. The truck looks new inside/out, and underneath.  But even if there was a scratch, I'm not too worried because it's a truck LOL.

I plan to go through my credit union to finance. I was approved for 3.49% for 84/mo. Can't complain on that rate for 84 months, but I could take the 72/mo for 2.29%.  GM Financial wasn't too graceful on their rates since I didn't have an 800+ credit score (749).

All in all, I plan on doing the paperwork tomorrow afternoon. We'll see how it goes.

That’s not too bad on the mileage if you don’t mind them and the price is right. Good luck hope it works out for you. On another note what credit union do you have? I’m in California and can’t find anything that low!

I'm going through a local Minnesota Credit Union (Firefly) since I have an account with them. The 2.29% is with NavyFed.

Nothing wrong with that deal.  It's a nice truck.  Are they selling it as new?  If not, can you get them to certify it?  The wife's Impala was a GM executive vehicle with 1800 miles on it, we bought it as certified used even though it was never titled.  Extra year of warranty that way is the benefit.
