Yup: 3000rpms @ 65mph. The only saving grace is the 33" tires.

Thats why I want the 700R4 swap so badly

Here is my old 68 that I sold over2 years ago. I wish I had kept it. Someone put a Buick 350 in it but at least it was stout I bet it packed around 350 hp it had a 400th tranny and a 3.07 rear axle. With those 3.07 gears it really ran strong I should have changed them to 3.73 though it would have been a rocket then.
