I ran my truck Last Friday. (two passes) Here are the results.

Second time I shifted it, I guess it did not like being held to rev-limiter!!!

 

Confirms that these trucks make F****** torque!!!!!

 

I know if I had of ran it more I could have clicked off a low 16 or high 15 sec pass.....

 

Have to wait till next year though. All in all very fun night. I wish I could have seen the look on the kid in the Mitsubishi eclipse turbo that I almost beat (he ran a 16.107 @ 84.19).

Not bad for a basicly stock 6.0! Add a Wester's PCM to it and probably get mid to low 15's!!

Not bad at all...I ran a 16.0 with my 4x4 ext cab with the 4.8L.....considering the hemi 4x4's there were running low 16's too I was pretty happy with my little 4.8L

Its a 8.1l

 

and bruce if you failed to notice field altitude that is part of the reason.

 

Not to mention that I know that I could have turned a low 16 to high 15 with more runs.

 

 

Also go check out the weight of my vs yours or the hemi dodge. My engine and transmission out weigh yours or the hemi by hundreds of pounds.
