ran my 2500hd at dragstrip

Recommended Posts

I ran my truck Last Friday. (two passes) Here are the results.

run one/////////////////run two

r/t 0.856------ 0.553

60ft 2.381------ 2.355

330ft 6.883------ 6.871

1/8mi 10.583----- 10.628

1/8mph 66.45mph------ 65.70mph

1000ft 13.783------ 13.866

1/4mi 16.496------ 16.614

1/4mph 82.98mph------ 81.97mph

All at 3075 ft (tucson, az).

Second time I shifted it, I guess it did not like being held to rev-limiter!!!

Confirms that these trucks make F****** torque!!!!!

I know if I had of ran it more I could have clicked off a low 16 or high 15 sec pass.....

Have to wait till next year though. All in all very fun night. I wish I could have seen the look on the kid in the Mitsubishi eclipse turbo that I almost beat (he ran a 16.107 @ 84.19).

Its a 8.1l

and bruce if you failed to notice field altitude that is part of the reason.

Not to mention that I know that I could have turned a low 16 to high 15 with more runs.

Also go check out the weight of my vs yours or the hemi dodge. My engine and transmission out weigh yours or the hemi by hundreds of pounds.
