Homer? Really?  I literally said gm is not perfect. I then went on to say if you don't like it buy something else. Why would i be sorry for that? Why wouldn't you if you aren't happy with a product? Not saying you specifically. Anyone should. Just tired of people beating a dead horse with their bad interior complaints. Its not a bad interior at all. Just maybe not the interior you wanted. If that is the case then why buy it in the first place? Big gains quoted and linked earlier in this thread are the numbers i speak of. Yes i base some purchases on history. History shows to me in the details that i look for that the gm truck will hold up better than the ram. No crystal ball but history usually repeats itself.  Prices i spoke to are based on the ability to buy ram trucks for much lower prices than gm after all discounts and rebates. Have seen them as much as $20k off at times.

I don't think you were trying to be rude but calling names is unnecessary. You called me a homer twice. I had to google it. I don't do facebook or any of that other stuff, no need or want for it in my life, so maybe i am not in touch with its casual use but the definition was “moron”.

as a recent loyal and longtime ford trucks owner i am glad to say i helped (as minuscule as it maybe) in those numbers by getting rid of my POS F250 (ongoing 4WD and a electrical/safety issue with no fix, just constant repair) for a Silverado 3500.  Ford would do nothing for a 12 time customer who made 17 roundtrips (200 mi each time) to the dealer for the same two repairs in a years time, not mention missed work, etc.  Let them enjoy their botched Explorer launch, 1st Quarter loss when everyone else was doing ok, transmission class action suit and GM beating them in total truck sales.  Everyday I drive my 3500 i like it more and more.

Excellent to hear!  Once you get over the fact your in GM product and really drive that truck year in/out you will ask yourself "why didn't I do this earlier"

That is a super neat idea. If someone can spot me $165,000 i would be glad to conduct this experiment.

This would be a very fun experiment. I’d love to see not only resale but also the likes/dislikes of each along with any problems they would have.

Anyone want to start a go fund me for it?

Good for GM. They needed a strong quarter after a down year. Big ups to Ram that interior is paying of for them. Can you imagine if GM had a nice interior ? And Ford is indeed having down year. Lol 186k sold in 3 months and we call it a down quarter.
I like the interior on my sierra even if it is simpler, I just wish they could take the seats from the ram or ford. The chevy/gmc seats this generation are some of the most uncomfortable seats I've ever had in a vehicle, and outside of the issues I've had with the truck are really the only thing I flat out dislike about the vehicle.

They oughtta really start seeing good gains.

Especially considering this is the best Silverado/Sierra ever made ( my opinion  )

My brother in law has always been a staunch Ford man. He has a 2017 F250. But, after riding in mine for a few trips, knowing how much she can tow and just how friggin good the mpg is, he actually went to trade his in for a new Sierra!!

Man, these new Chevys and GMC's are freakin awesome. Talked to a Construction guy the other day that had bought 2 new Silverados. I asked him how he liked them. He just smiles and said, I shoulda done this a long time ago lol

Bigger, stronger, faster and better mpg than ever before. Dang right sales are gonna go up.
