Front bumper help!

Hey folks,

 

I'm in dire need of a front bumper for my 06 Sierra 1500. There are a few rust holes (Nova Scotia winters :( ) preventing me from passing my provincial MVI. My question is if a similar generation 1500 Silverado front bumper will fit my Sierra, as a local scrapyard has a magnitude of Chevys but not any feasible Sierra candidates.  I know it wouldn't look too pretty, but this truck is necessity over style. New is out of the question as shipping in NS is ridiculous, cheapest OEM ripoff came to over $600 for a $150 bumper. Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated.
