Everyone needs to step up to the plate and buy gas guzzlers. It’s our patriotic duty. If you have a job that is.

My T1 Silverado gets about 14mpg city and that's the highest I've had in the past 15 years.  Some of that has to do with the vehicle being heavy and some of it with my right foot being heavy.

My Avalanche gets about 15. My 92 less than that. I drive them more now.

The problem begins when people start driving again. Refineries are going to be shutting down here soon I read. Just have no room to store gas. So I believe there will be a supply issue initially sending prices higher like around $4 a gallon or more until refineries can get back online. Enjoy it now. Oh wait. Can’t nothing is open.

I'll bet darn few will learn what power the consumer has on gas prices from all this. A fully functioning economy could drive half the miles it did before this at the drop of a hat and push back. Thing is it's hard to find enough people to agree to do it at the same time. So you have a hammer. Just not the will to swing it. :)

I paid $3.53 for 91 on Edwards AFB on Sunday.  Fixing to fill up tonight, after work.  They try to match the FasTrip in Rosamond, who's usually the cheapest in Rosamond and in the Antelope Valley.

$3.33 - 87

$3.43 - 89

On April 2, I filled up my truck, and on Wednesday, I filled up my wife's MB GLC 300.

4/2      OCT    4/15

$2.79 - 91 - $2.59

$2.69 - 89 - $2.49

$2.59 - 87 - $2.39

Thank God for Gov. Gordon

No shelter in place here in Wyoming, so my highway trips can continue.

FWIW, I like to drive the state highways of Wyoming, to see the sights. Social distancing at its finest.

Gas is $1.64 a gallon here for regular. With Dad's gas discount, it's 19 cents a gallon for regular, and 64 cents for high test. Clyde and I are both happy happy campers

$1.15 earlier. It's like being a teen again.

I wish it made me feel like a teen again, when I was a teen gas was .25 - .30 a gallon,  my first car was a 68 Chevelle and premium was .38 a gallon ?

I know some people it will feel like 20-30 years ago. After they lose everything and live in a trailer park. I bet there’s 26 million people thinking that now.

We are under a shelter in place or whatever here, and I do not care. We haven't shopped groceries in a month and come into contact with no one. Where I go is no one's business, and all citizens have a right travel at their discretion. Besides, I have to keep the battery topped off!

Rusty averaged 16mpg on the last tank, which is pretty good for blowing the cobwebs out type driving. The prices haven't fallen here as quickly as other places it would seem.
