Someone posted about this a couple of weeks ago. They said the price was like $8800. I guess the tuning is what makes the price so high.

If it’s as easy to install as they say I’d probably be okay with the price. Not paying for installation would likely make it a wash price wise.

It's getting the ECU tuned is what is holding everyone back right?  Seems to be from reading older threads.  Having everything bolt on and ready to go for $8800 seems reasonable to  me but I'm coming from the BMW world where everything is expensive so it wasn't such a sticker shock for me lol.

I always find these upgrade kits interesting. I mean 45% increase in power sounds awesome but how will the rest of the system hold up. Will the pistons, rods, transmission etc be able to handle that much power increase without needing to be upgraded?

Asking more from curiosity as a non-expert ?.

My 2300 magnuson was over 5k,  until I bought hp tuners and all the fixins I prob have just as much. So that's alot but not too bad..    I wonder what kind of boost they do with this kit.  After so much both fuel pumps need to be upgraded.

But you can use HPtuners again and again for other things.

Unless they have the inside pricing (doubtful), the computer stuff alone is $1,900 just to get an unlocked computer and the credits required to license it. So I'm very curious how they are doing that whole part.

Like you are telling them your VIN and they program the PCM/TCM for your VIN prior to shipping it to you?

Or do you send in your computer first, then they do the exchange and unlock service with HP Tuners and send the computer back.

I would imagine some sort of core exchange program through Procharger would be most logical to eliminate downtime. Also may explain the higher price if the kit is as simple as that makes it sound. If it is an ECU core exchange, hopefully at some point there would be the option to give them a list of other mods at that point should you have headers or something.
