Jobless claim up another 6.6 million. I believe that puts it at 17 million in three weeks. Social distance wouldn’t be a problem pretty soon.

I know Fauci isn't against it. He wants the studies to have more time to determine if it does work. My point has always been that we don't know if it works because the necessary studies haven't been done. The people who claim its working can't know that for sure yet.

Ah, I see the difference now. You prorate life. I count the life of one a hundred the same as the one just born of equal value.

If you prorate you might well be correct in terms of 'life years'.

I guess most of the world shares the prorated life paradigm. Well sort of. They look at your cost vs your productivity in $$$$. Micky "D"s loves kids and those too old to find work that pays an HONEST wage.

How do you suppose this works out if we not only prorate life but assign a $$$$ value based on cost v productivity? Maybe we can assign ventilators based on this. Ya know, CEO's, Presidents, Scientist we try to save. Old people, immigrants, those of low IQ we let fend for themselves.

Actually, its how the epidemiologists do it - did you cease your pandemic research a MR? You and Anderson Cooper use a mirror under the nose and a chalkboard for your calculations. I said nothing of productivity - thats your take down some slippery slope. This one has zero symptoms in over half now (probably 75% by the time its all said and done), yet YOU have claimed its the Bubonic Plague. Is MSNBC paying you now?

Its a cold type virus - chances are the recovered people after these experimental drugs are just recovering (I wouldnt take em or a rapidly made vaccine). Most severe cases are ventilated for a week or so before extubation. The dying are not just obese and diabetic - they have serious moribound conditions that were killing them anyway. Just being old, high bp, or diabetic is not a death sentence - a vast majority wont even get sick. Statistically, EVERY virus will have higher mortality rates with these underlying conditions...

Their counting all deaths with the virus present as the virus caused. Even as other deaths are down.

I agree with most of this. Other cold viruses haven't been as aggressive as this one, so it's attacking those with underlying conditions more severely. Dr. Birx also mentioned that it's 3x as transmittable last night during the presser. We don't really know how many have been infected unless we test everyone which just isn't going to happen. I'd like to see them do a comparison of all the cases with symptoms broken down into categories and percentages of each.

Fat people have a lot to worry about from COVID19. To think their bodies are not already far over taxed would be implausible.

I teach it in my Algebra and Geometry classes. It was my minor in college and really is an intriguing subject. I just finished teaching exponential growth and decay to my Algebra students and the graphs being shown at the pressers are perfect real life examples of their use.

I don't know enough about how death certificates are filled out. Not exactly something I'd like to learn. I would think that if it's mentioned on the death certificate then it could be counted so listing it as the main cause wouldn't be necessary. I wonder how they'll respond to this at future pressers.

The senator /Dr from MN explained that in a video I posted, but I guess you discarded those already too.
