Each state will decide what the new norm in America will be,  but it won't be this current social distancing or even some variation, or else mass events or gatherings will have to cease.  The end game will have to be use common sense and attend at your own risk.

Been doing that for years, I know we all have horror/funny stories being the race track, games of all sorts, concerts, you name it.

Remember being at a Mariners game in the Kingdome, Toronto was in town, so all of the "drunken" Canadian's came down from Vancouver BC. One had a "little" much to drink and shat his pants, and I mean really cut loose, when I went into the bathroom, a bunch of kids were making fun of him.

Went back a few innings later, pants laying on the floor, poop everywhere, do not even think they cleaned it up till after the game, pretty much the norm for a lot of events (concerts), and every one is surprised at how quickly something like this spreads, we should be surprised that it has not happened sooner.

Yeah. I am essential as well. Luckily my shift is overnight which limits my risk and the risk to others in the event that I may have it and not know it. Thinking back I was horribly ill over thanksgiving and my cough lingered through Christmas. I can only wonder if I had it. No one else in my house got sick. But it was a dry cough as well. I got tested for flu which was negative so my doctors response was it’s a virus. I would love to take a blood test to see if they can determine if I was previously infected.

I deal with truck drivers of all kinds, we have shut the building off to anyone who does not work here, especially the bathrooms.

This has ended with the drivers being upset, so for their revenge they now do their business in the parking lot on our equipment and anywhere they think they won't be seen, talking number 1 and 2.

I was sick a couple of weeks ago, for a little over two weeks, did a virtual chat that was the equivalent of pissing in the wind, and then a video conference with my normal doctor, which lead to some prescription drugs that god rid of most of the symptoms. Not even being able to see a doctor in person was pretty strange, understand what the goal is, but I agree with you, did you have it, did I have it, how do we even find out when you are not allowed in a physicians office?

Somebody shitting on the floor seems to be drastically different from Chinese people eating bats, snakes, dogs, cats and a whole host of other questionable things. These types of things are the norm to come from China. Remember the 2000's when cheap Chinese Sheetrock was making people sick. It is no surprise that something like this came from China because its has happened so many times. Now is the time to start discarding products that don't have a made in the USA stamp. This virus is the only thing made in China that has lasted more than a week.

Folks are getting their info from either news outlets or the internet.  You can have your opinion about which media is the best or worst, all of them are the same.  There is a media tree, some branch out differently.  But at the end of the day they are rooted from the same tree.  Politicians and politics follow this same analogy.

Agree with your point.

My point is, we are not very clean as a society, lots of dirty habits, poor hygiene, all factors as why there are so many just general flu cases and colds each year. Understand this is something most of us probably thought that we would never see in our lifetimes.

And I do completely agree, China as a society needs to look in the mirror as humans, and ask the question, why do we continue to do things, materials made knowing they are toxic, the "food" we eat that actually kills us, and make some serious changes. But they won't being a communistic country.

If their own lives mean nothing to them as a society, why would anyone else's?

Here is the question;  America as a society needs to look in the mirror as humans, and ask the question, why do we continue to invest in things, materials made in China knowing they are toxic.  America need to make some serious changes, if our lives doesn't mean anything to us, why should it matter to them.

Didn't we just get this current boatload of N95s from China?

I agree with both above posts....we need to be done with days of people buying all of the chinese knock off garbage that flows thru places like Amazon. Everybody needs to take a good look in the mirror and in their closets/ cabinets etc. Americans don't support any of the Communist values such as slavery, torture, censorship, the eating of pet animals etc. We should not being doing business with countries that don't support even the mildest form of decency. When I was a kid you would be thrown of the jobsite if you showed up with any made in China tools.....We need that attitude again as a country.

Completely agree with the lives statement, lion share of Americans are not the one who make the decision to import all of the crap from China, decisions like that are and always will be made by people in a much greater pay scale than mine, I vote, complain about their products, and try to buy and support American companies as much I can.

Along the way here, I forgot to thank you for your service to our country so we have the freedom to have interactions and share our beliefs like this.

Thank you very much!

It's the way the article is presented. There are many ways to get the same point across. Cnn articles all have a terrible undertone to them, just like all of their questions asked at the briefings. All they want is for the country to fail because they think that is the best way to get rid of Trump. Trump has put politics aside, but the media and Democrats will not stop what they have been doing for the last 3.5 years. It's completely un-american. Trump has complimented many democratic leaders and there has yet to be much reciprocity. Gavin Newsome and a few others have actually been honest to their credit.

So, from looking at the sources they claim in the article, I guess the CDC, John Hopkins, the University of Exeter Medical School, Science Media Centre and maybe even the FDA are all in on this supposed conspiracy against President Trump and also want the U.S. to fail...

Depends on W.H.O. you ask.

I find it amusing really that the people that deny the accuracy of the numbers from these people use those peoples numbers to prop up their own claims of accuracy. 2-SARS numbers are false but 1-SARS, H1N1, Flu A, Flu B are true, yada, yada.

NONE OF THEM ARE ACCURATE but all of them are USEFUL.

No one is really interested it what's true.

People are interested in what's profitable.

Personally profitable.

Let me quantify this a bit because this is more than just the lives statement, it's also about the dollar bill.  Corporate America needs to look in the mirror as humans, and ask the question, why do they continue to invest in things, materials made in China knowing they are toxic.  The America people need to make some serious changes, if our lives doesn't mean anything to us, why should it matter to them.

I disagree about not interested, it's just personal profit outweighs a lot of what is true in America.

You mean the numbers that are being adjusted down? Profitability? People are worried about financial survival. Who’s making a profit? Maybe people who are making survival equipment, if there’re thinking about it. No one else is.

Yes that's correct, there is always more going on than what we are told from any media outlet. If you aren't intelligent enough to comprehend that than shame on you. None of those people have been accurate in their assessments of this situation from day 1. Fauci was on TV in late February saying this isn't a serious threat to the US....look it up. I'm done responding to this sort of fear mongering BS. CNN sold you a Stormy Daniels scandal and said her attorney, who is now in prison, should be the next president. Then there was Russia, which beared no fruit and it has been revealed that all the warrants used to spy on Trump and his campaign were not valid. Then when nothing was going on they said late last summer we were going into a recession that never happened.  Followed by the Ukraine nonsense that only exposed Biden's corruption. And today we have a media that is trying to shatter any hope that people could look too and wishes to prolong this as long as possible. So yes, anything coming from CNN should be treated the same as the National Enquirer.
