This quote, better late than never.

Unfortunately, when he reads from a script like he did, it typically is about stuff he doesn't believe, and will undermine everything he said pretty quickly via tweet.

But hey, there's always a first time for everything...

It's summer and not just the 4th of July. People aren't letting stuff stop them from having a good time and I don't blame them.

I live in an unincorporated area of about 50 homes. Definition of podunk USA. Looked like a New Orleans block party here on the 4th as it did for the 100 mile radius we drove than night around it. Entrances to several camp grounds were backed up for hours. It might not be JUST the 4th but we certainly don't have that kind of thing going on every night. Infection to death isn't a hard number to obtain. It wasn't really all that hard to know large numbers were going to be in trouble and when.

Good news today.  The Trump administration is finally working on crafting a strategy to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

They have been for months. All it takes is paying attention.

Lol i laugh at those blaming Trump for this as all 100% controlled top to bottom democrat city's are under siege by rioting lunatics, should be fun to hear Joe Biden try and tell me how great our major city's burning and held hostage are for us, i'm sure he will try and blame Trump for it.

Lol? There is nothing funny here.  As an outsider, but still impacted, I find the conflicts very sad.  Too bad this virus continues to be a political football on this thread.  The coronavirus has no political affiliation  and there are so many apolitical  strategies to combat the spread.  Simple stuff like social distancing and masks should be aggressively promoted with a united front. An upcoming election will only serve to enhance the mud slinging.  However, as individuals we each have influence. Promote the basics.

Found these in the garage today. Interesting and these are probably better than most of the face coverings being used today

I wasn't the one here blaming Trump because democrats encouraged and allowed lawless riots to take place in all of their city's and refuse to acknowledge the damage they are causing both financially and virus wise. It is a large reason for the loss of concern among most people in this country, when you state 100,000 people locked side by side with at best 1/3rd wearing a mask yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs are of no consequence to this virus spread you make everyone not care as much. Whatever i guess we can try shutting down essential services next so we don't offend anyone as that is much more important these days it seems in America.

Has anyone been accosted yet by the Wall-E-unit that roams the store, lighting up aisles like the face of the sun? (exaggeration)

Why not adapt this to sterilize aisles, if they haven't already?

Probably could work for sterilization as long as they stayed away from food aisles.  Saw on the news that drones are being used to sterilize outdoor stadiums in a few hours.  They could probably outfit a crop duster and do that in minutes.

Quarantine at home is safer than going out in public, well that's what the experts are saying.  As for my situation I agree, but I read a study that said a person is five times as likely to get the virus at home.  I can believe it if social distancing, masks, and hand washing is the rule of law for the virus because that's not going to happen at home.  Maybe increased hand washing.  Also, the rate of infection at home was highest between the ages of 10 and 19.

The house for me is the safer bet.  If it wasn't for monthly meds, we could dive and not come up for air for at least 3 months.

So in other words the lockdowns only work in theory, not in practice. And kids are safer at school than home. Sounds like something I have been saying for 6 months...?

Interesting day here in WI. Hospitalizations are at a four month low...167 total. We were “wide open party city” for the 4th of July too...only nothing has really happened in this state. ?‍♂️

I think it’s extremely relevant, but nobody in the media agrees? They continue to be hyper-focused on “record” positive test results to scare people when hospitalizations and deaths are all that really matter. The rest to me is garbage in and garbage out.
