My brother just back from Mexico. They don’t have the bug there. There’re talking about closing the boarder to us. Lots of things I’ve never imagine could happen are.

That's funny, given there are already at least 80 cases in Mexico, with very limited testing (so, likely, a lot more undiagnosed).  But they appear to be coming around to the idea that it's going to be a problem for them...

It’s too late then. Probably better to get over with. Unless there’s a miracle cure. We’ll all get it sooner or later.

Yesterday they gave a women in Washington state a trial injection. I hope it works so we can get over this BS. Canada / US border closed to everyone except Americans but anyone crossing is expected to self isolate so why would you want to come here. Mostly open because of economy of both countries and for shipments and food.

Currently, only the sickest patients are being tested, which of course skews the %; do that with the common cold and you will shake in fear. The post mortem on this whole outbreak in the coming months will expose it as the biggest overestimation of all time with permanent damage to the credibility of the medical community. Mark my words...

It was ask what about next year? Hopefully will have a vaccine was the answer. The purpose in case it was missed was to flatten the hump or curve. What’s happens when you do that? You extend the duration. So the likelihood of the old and frail getting it next year increases. They pacifying us buy throwing money at us. A woman the other day stated they didn’t react like this with polio. Every watch mash? The can set up mobile hospitals quick. Let it rip. Isolate the old and weak. I’m 63, had high blood pressure since 19, hay fever bad this time of the year. Boarder line to high risk. Our minister is opening church this Sunday. It’s a small one no more than 50 people. Ninety percent over 70 years old. I bet the usual attendance. Probably no hugging. The conversation will be about the bubble wrap society we’re living in presently. And their retirement accounts. They accept their health risk. Losing their freedom and money worries them more. These people believe in the next life. They don’t fear death.

CNN just posted than most deaths were from people 60 and up with other health problems. These people were affected before there was any kind of isolation efforts. Some were traveling or in nursing homes.

In this internet world I’m surprised more people aren’t checking statistics, maybe they are. Here’s a sample. Traffic deaths per day around 100. Regular flu the same average. Around 100 per day. Remember the flu season isn’t 12 months. Over cautious? Economic busting? What’s acceptable lost? Is this how we want to live? This is driving down the oil markets father along with the oil price war. Layoffs have started. Many businesses can’t miss a month’s income. Most middle class can’t either. Worth it?

Our services have been canceled until further notice. However our ministers stay in daily contact with us.

My mother believed with her whole heart and at the end, just before she passed she winked and said, "I'll be right back". In my entire life the only thing that ever scared the women was the thought she might displease God. That girl ate pain like candy and never feared man nor death but displeasing God would put her on her knees.

I went for a long ride yesterday. Traffic was very light. People kept their distance, the few that I saw. Oddly the place with the most vehicles were the Dollar General Stores. Parking lots were packed. I wonder about that. Shelves are empty. What's the draw to a place like that?

Two businesses local said they would stay open until FORCED to close. They closed on time. A bar and a restaurant. End of ramble. Thanks for the platform KARNUT.

Sometimes I like to shake the tree. I’m sure you’re mother is very happily waiting on you. My father is in hospice at home. He doesn’t believe surrounded by believers. We all hope subconsciously he’s rethinking that.

And you do it so well. Shake the tree that is. I expect other things as well.

Your mom sounded like a cool lady! My grandma was like that to. All those older people that went though the depression and wwii were very tough. They were the "Greatest Generation".

Two the sky is falling headlines. The virus has double in the last 24HRs! Duh, their testing more and more results are coming back. The second sky is falling headline. This may last 18 months! Well we’re isolated for peat sake! Longer duration is the result. Double DUH. The H1-N1 has been coming around since 1909. Let’s push the fear!

Now their talking about experimental drugs to combat this flu oops virus. What’s next? The walking dead? There’s a reason vaccines take awhile. The flu shot is 19-40 percent effective. Our bodies fights these bugs. There’s only one way for that to happen.

Another way to protect the elderly is to prevent their IRAs and pensions statements from being mailed in the next few months. You better start stocking up on defibrillators. Talk about damage to the cruise, airline, casinos, hotel, restaurants. The cure will be worse than the disease. Tell an older person what they fear now it ain’t the bug, it’s the cure or delay. Tell a 65 and up person it will comeback in five years they’ll say really? My daughter who cuts hair ask me. Why are all these old people still coming here? Her 64 year old father answered. We’re facing the end of things that we can do as we age. We’ve endured things much worse than a 1-5 or a 1-10 chance of dying. Going out swinging is what most of us want to do. I’m lucky I didn’t just rely on the market for my retirement. I’m not opening my monthly portfolio this month. Or looking at my condos reservations for the next month either. My biggest concern is the 50 year old business we built and the over 30 people who work there. Not to mention the scores of customers we serve. I rather take my chances on 1 percent or so getting it. This isn’t living.
