Power window problems

I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado. My driver side window works fine. My passenger side window only works for the passenger side switch. My rear windows do not work at all. I replaced the switch and have the same problem. Any ideas I’m at a loss?

Double check the "Child Safety Switch" for the windows to make sure that it's not set.

Check fuses, and ohm wires from switches to window motor.

Check the wires in the door jamb for breaks. Try grabbing the rubber boots and moving it around while operating the switches to see if they start working.

1. Test the driver's window switch power and ground feeds.

2. Check for wire breaks in the door jamb boot.

3. If there is low/no voltage on the Yellow wire in terminal 43 at the switch, cut the Yellow wire in terminal 22 in the X2 connector at the Body Control Module (BCM).

4. Confirm there are 12 volts on the Yellow wire on the BCM side of the cut.

5. If there are 12 volts, check for an open in the Yellow wire between the BCM and the driver power window switch.

I have the same symptoms, but my wire harness looks good, except the thick black wire is cut and exposed some. Ordering a new harness now, hoping to have positive results.

Is this a common problem on the K2’s?

I know this post is from 2020 but when my 2018 was in the shop in July for this, the GM dealer said it was becoming more increasingly common.  As well as the hood sensor/switch failing.

So it ends up that while I found a slice in the black ground wire in the main door harness, I actually only needed to replace fuse #8 in the drivers side fuse panel to get everything working again. Thanks.

I have a 2018 Silverado. The passenger window will not roll down from the passenger door switch or the drivers door switch. All of the other windows work from their respective switch and the drivers panel. I replaced the switch and the window motor assembly (both OEM) but the problem remains. Additionally, the door ajar light is on continuously. I checked the fuses and the wiring and I can’t find any issues. Any advice?

Have you run a scan with a scan tool?
Also, have you checked all grounds (yeah, I know, always the easy answer without solving the problem)
Still, a scan would probably find the fault, might be a legacy code that needs a reset.

I have a early model 2014 Chevy Silverado and the drivers side windows have stopped working as well as the stereo stays on after the vehicle is shut off (opening door does not cancel the radio) I have replaced the window switch, door wiring harness, and the latch on the drivers door. I have also checked all fuses and they are good any ideas where to look next.
