AFE intake on my T1

Title pretty much sums it up. Found a few higher priced systems but they all the do the same thing and make a suck noise pretty much. For 350 the afe fit the bill for me and looks real clean ( certain others don’t ) just sharing before and after as the install is elementary. It definitely cleans the engine bay up.

Gonna call afe and see what they say But I’m curious if anyone running a CAI has seen the check air filter message after install?

No message for a week but then this is randomly coming on

No messages or alerts coming up on mine, I've had the kit for about 4 months now.

Same kit? It’s a straight forward install so I don’t get it. Maybe just extra airflow causing odd readings but no cel so it’s strange to me

Hmm. It runs great and gained one mpg so I’m not mad just curious. I’ll wait to hear from afe. Just an annoying message. It now pops up every day
