Wireless Charger Quit - 2020 gmc SLT

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Picked up a new 2020 3.0L SLT about 2 months back. Haven’t driven it a ton, 1500kms only so far. All of a sudden one day my wireless charger quit. Worked intermittently one day then since then it hasn’t worked. Anyone else had this happen?

Thanks

My 2016 did the same thing. I haven't got around to troubleshooting it yet.
But it's a common problem.
I just been using the USB port to charge the cell.

I test drove a 2016 (I think) SLT when I bought mine.  Drop my phone in and the charger didn't work.  Must be a common problem.

I had a 2016 before this truck and the wireless didn’t work from day one. I had upgraded the module and it worked.
This one worked on my 2020 for while then just quit. I’ll check the fuses and report back if I find anything.

Got this figured out.
I had wired in a dashcam with an add a fuse, on this circuit. Seems the add a fuse wasn’t seated properly causing the charger to not work. Fuses were ok, and dashcam worked, but when I wiggled then add a fuse, the charger started to work again.
