Philmo
i signed up for GMPP on my '01 HD. after a lot of questions and research and dickering i went with blake huddleston at classic chevrolet in grapevine, texas. i also looked at black pontiac/cadillac's site. they are from pennsylvania. i got the 3 year/36k mile w/ the $50 deductible for $1115. black wanted $1215. i talked to the black pontiac GMPP guy over the phone and he seemed to be pure salesman. i couldn't get a word in edgewise with him. he said they sell the most GMPP's around and that they had the best prices. his opinion. i had several conversations with blake at classic chevy and he was very friendly and knowlegeable about GMPP and chevys. most the time we talked trucks and motors and vehicle options. very nice fellow and a pleasure to deal with. i also found out that GM changed a bunch of stuff on october 1st on the GMPP. so if you're looking to buy you will need to do some research. you can also save money on sales tax if you buy your GMPP from a dealer outside of your state. give blake the first shot at your business. call him at classic chevy, 1-800-259-1200. one more thing of importance. you can't get the $0 deductible on GMPP if your truck goes over 30k miles. so if you're getting close to that number you had better buy one now. once your OD gets to 30,001 you lose out. phil
