UPDATE, installed. GM Accessories black grille? Whose seen it?

It looks like there are two plastic studs that are missing from the replacement grille.  Shouldn't be to huge of an issue to trim and create the studs.

I should have more information before the end of the week.  I went ahead and ordered the grille kit.  

Any modifications made will be documented for others that want to incorporate the camera into this kit.

So here is the big difference between the two.





Looks as if the camera module will just barely fit. Trying to design a mount for the camera to screw into.

So here is a mock up after the cut has been made in the new grille lower. Just need the parts store to open in the morning and pickup some epoxy to mount the bolts to the new grille.

Really wish I had a 3D printer right now.

I plan on just painting mine with a vinyl/plasti-dip paint. It’s cheap and will allow me to see if I’d like how the blacked out chrome looks. Should be posting pics later today.
