If you go with a +0, I think your outer edge/shoulder will rub on the valance when the front wheels are turned inward. And if you don’t rub there, you’re going to for sure have worse rubbing on the liner at full lock. IMHO, +20 is the perfect balance. I had +20 on my 18 2500HD, and +0 on a 2014 1500.

+20 is my choice all day.

As for tires, I do like the Ridge Grapplers a lot. A nice aggressive looking tire with excellent road manners still. They’re quiet, ride smooth, and track well. Snow performance has been great too. I’ve always run Terra Grappler G2s before, but I’m really happy I decided to switch. I don’t think you’d be disappointed with them. Only drawback is the price at ~$370ish per tire in a 295/65/20.

I don’t have tires yet but doing 35’s, F load rating. I’ll also be waiting to install them until after I do some sort of leveling kit due to the low offset. Will wait until I can do some test figments before determining which leveling kit but leaning towards 3+1.

I love that offset on a 10” wide wheel, for me it’s perfect and what I’ve had on my past trucks including my old 2019 Silverado 1500.

But yeah with those dimensions you can’t just slap them on and go.

Cdh7917/bass mechanic/FirstAscent- thanks for the info your guys posted. With all the research you guys have done on this topic, do you think I would run into a fitment issue on a 0 or +1 offset with a 295/65/20 and a leveling kit with new UCA’s upfront? I am trying to avoid any trimming if at all possible.

i think with that offset, you will need to trim some. i am having the same debate now. 20s with 0 offset and a 295/65 or 285/65, or 18s with a 305/70 or 285/75.

i can't find a 20" wheel that I like in +18-20 offset, only 0. The 18" wheel I like only comes in a +18 offset

If you would have said to me a month ago, that it would be this hard to find a set of wheels, I would have called you a liar. LOL.

I would never buy anything other than a GM truck, but I do wish they had the clearance like the Super Duty Ford has.

I did talk to custom offsets today and the 285/65 will fit on “0” offset wheels. The 295/65 will fit on the positive offset rims, but at 0 they stated it will be “extremely close”. This was on a set of 20’s.

Let me know what you find out during your research and I will do the same.

Yeah I think you have a small chance of it clearing but it will be VERY close. For reference back to my setup, my tires are an inch wider and my offset pushes the tire out an inch further, so that means I'm about 1.5" pushed to the outside than your setup would be. This would make clearance more in your favor.

However, with that being said, I know a lot of people don't like or want to trim, but the trimming I had to do looks pretty darn good. for the front of the wheel well, you'd never know it was trimmed, and the only way you'd notice the mud flap is if you were looking directly at the inside of it from 2' away. And worst case scenario, if you wanted to revert it back, buying a new mud lap would be an easy and inexpensive item. I also didn't trim any part of the mud flap that would be visible from the exterior so that it still looked factory.

I had 295/65/20s installed with Fuel Blitz wheels 20x9, with +20 offset. I didn't concern myself too much with backspacing.

Here is a side view. My truck is fully stock on the suspension. I had very, very slight rubbing on the front fender liners, but I was able to resolve that by pinning back the bottom edge of the liner using a zip tie on each side looped around the lower valance/bumper support.

What is the finish on those wheels? Bronze?

For those that don’t know you can get a 295/60R20 tire that is the same width as the 65R20 but just a little over an inch shorter. Helps if you are having fitment issues.

Basically bronze-ish, they call it DDT (Double Dark Tint)

Any more info on this? Still not seeing a +13 offset available in a 22 on their website...
